15 months

Our little man is growing by leaps and bounds! At his 15 month appointment this month we found out just how much...THREE inches in the last 3 months! Griffin is also really starting to communicate although he's not using words yet. Quite often we're pretty sure we know what he's saying: "I did it!"and "What's that?" are the most common. He also is responding to requests and commands, "Go get a ball/book/toy", "Where's Griffin's belly button (and nose)?" He initiates peek-a-boo and horsey rides. He has even learned to walk down the stairs like a big boy...without the help of an adult! And he knows how to give Hi Fives too! So many changes so fast, he's not a baby anymore.

Griffin knows how to turn our bedside lamps on and off, he just can't manage to actually turn the switch! And his obsession led him to tumble out of the crib, so we rearranged to remove temptation! (The mattress needs to be high, so it's level with our bed- where he ends up around midnight every night). No worries though, no injuries- it just scared him (and me)!

Griffin is definitely a climber...and constantly has the bruises to prove it!
Going for a run with Daddy...one day before the snow hit, it was COLD! (1/15/12)
 SNOW DAY!
Snow day Starbuck's run. Griffin loves to like the foam from my chai off the lid!

Running around inside...things got crazy so we bundled up and headed outside!
Griffin LOVED the snow (when it was shallow enough to walk in).

No tears. Not a single one. Just kept getting back up and playing some more.

They're so cute together! Brousins: Pax and Griffin.
 Snowballs!
They lose their appeal quickly with toddlers since you can't see where you they landed.
Griffin would have stayed outside all day if we'd let him. He just wanted to walk and walk and walk...
Finally dinner time. He ate like he was starving!! All that fresh air and exercise:)

 Snow Day 2!!
This was the best day!! Our neighbors had an extra innertube and the boys sledded down a small hill in another neighbor's yard. We played outside for hours!! No tears from anyone!
 Even Bailey enjoyed the snow!

 Sledding!

 Wheeeeee!!!

Check you later mom! I'm going for a walk!
 Playing at the neighbors.
All 4 kids on one sled...Griffin was so unsure of this!
All done! Played so long his hands and face were red!
Snow day 3...no fun at all:( There was just simply too much snow for a little guy to walk in. We lasted maybe  15 minutes outside. Spent the rest of the day cooped up inside.

Finally, there were tears:(

Playing inside.

 Bedtime play with Daddy.
Snow Day 4 and we were all going a little stir crazy.
Jumping on Pax's new bed.
We headed to Grandpa Joe and Grandma Kathy's for dinner. We needed out of the house and they had less snow, so Griffin enjoyed some more play time. We even went sledding down the same hill I used to sled on when I was a kid...on the same sled I used too!!

Grandpa pulling Grandma and Griffin on the sled.

Wheeeee!!!

Helping Grandpa and Grandma get their cars ready for work the next morning.
Dinner time! Daddy made yummy Wild Rice Soup.
What a little flirt!!

Bath time before heading home for bed.
Grumpy and sick Griffin enjoying a Veggie Tales and some juice. (1/23/12)

We went to the Dr. and Griffin ended up with an antibiotic prescription and a nebulizer.
Rocking!
Mr. Potato Head glasses. Silly boy!!
